Ice sheet - sea level - solid Earth interactions in Northern Hemisphere during the last glacial cycle
The combined effects of the rotational, gravitational field changes and the solid Earth deformation associated with past ice sheet changes contribute to spatially and temporally varying pattern of sea-level changes across the globe. In turn, sea-level changes and solid Earth deformation feedback onto ice sheet dynamics, impacting the evolution of the ice sheet. My research is focused on modeling the Northern Hemispheric ice sheet over the last glacial cycles. Understanding the dynamics and history of ice sheets and sea-level can contribute to better constraining of global ice volume and sea-level budget over the past glacial cycles, which, in turn, can contribute to project future sea-level change.
